About The Position
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Scrub Tech to support surgical services at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate must have strong cardiovascular operating room experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Requirements
- Must have CVOR experience.
- Must be NBSTSA certified.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist educational program OR completion of an approved Surgical Technology training program through one of the following U.S. Military programs: U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiovascular operating room procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs during cases.
