About The Position

The Scrub Technician prepares the operating room and assists the surgeon during procedures. This role involves ensuring the operative environment is safe and meets quality standards for both patients and ASC personnel. The technician must have a working knowledge of equipment, surgical protocols, and practices, maintaining an organized approach to instrument trays and sterile fields. Adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations, including the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, is essential.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of material, methods, instruments, and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage time accordingly in order to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization.
