About The Position

The Scrub Technician prepares the operating room and assists the surgeon during procedures. This role involves ensuring the operative environment is safe and meets quality standards for both the patient and ASC personnel. The technician must have a working knowledge of the equipment, surgical protocols, and practices used during surgery, along with an efficient and organized approach to the instrument tray and sterile fields. Adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations, as well as following the principles of the Compliance Program and the Code of Conduct, are essential. Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of material, methods, instruments, and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage time accordingly in order to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization.
