About The Position
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a cardiovascular operating room. The role involves working with a dedicated team of RNs and Surgical Technologists in a unit with 12 surgical suites, including two dedicated CVORs, and a patient-to-staff ratio of 1:1. The work environment is described as collaborative and supportive, with current technology and resources to support patient care. This position is located in Hudson, Florida.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cardiovascular operating room settings.
- Flexibility and ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to adapt to various procedures and environments.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a main operating room.
- Experience with EMR systems, particularly Meditech.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Use advanced medical equipment and technologies.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to enhance patient outcomes.
- Assist during surgical procedures, including CABG and valve replacements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.
