About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution, seeking experienced Surgical Technologists for short and long-term assignments throughout the health system. Nationwide and Regional opportunities are available. Qualified candidates will float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions. The role involves assessing, identifying outcomes, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, acting independently within the scope of practice, retaining accountability for delegation and outcomes, collaborating with stakeholders, and embracing new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST
If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed, due to training on the job or trained in the military – Five (5) years’ work experience is required
Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility
Ability to complete the orientation and training

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist
CST Certification
