CV/ML/DL Algorithm Developer

Applied Materials•Santa Clara, CA
•$184,000 - $253,000

About The Position

The CV/ML/DL Algorithm Developer leads research, design, development, and implementation of algorithmic modules. The role assesses concepts and feasibility for classical and machine-learning/deep-learning computer vision algorithms, including problem analysis, data gathering, literature review, concept selection and evaluation, and implementation constraints. The work focuses on defect detection and classification, metrology, and image analysis for semiconductor process-control tools. The developer prototypes and validates solutions, benchmarks them on large datasets, writes optimized production-quality code, collaborates with software and other functional teams to integrate algorithms into inspection tools, and optimizes performance by efficiently using compute resources. The position is based in Santa Clara, California, offers a stated salary range of $184,000 to $253,000, and requires travel 10% of the time. Relocation is eligible. The role is listed as full-time and regular.
