About The Position

The BMS team is seeking a battery algorithm software engineer to design and develop advanced battery and power management algorithms and software for various Apple products. The role involves collaborating with algorithms, software, and system engineers to define software architecture and write software modules that implement innovative battery algorithms. The engineer will contribute to developing future battery management technologies and battery systems involving algorithms, architectures, and products.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning applications.
• Experience programming in Python and C++.

Nice To Haves

• PhD and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with software requirement definition and software development processes.
• Experience designing and architecting machine learning inference pipelines and underlying infrastructure.
• Experience using AI coding tools and creating agentic AI applications.
• Experience developing innovative and creative machine learning features in the battery or consumer electronics domain.
