Battery Algorithm SW Engineer
About The Position
The Battery Algorithm SW Engineer will develop battery management system (BMS) technologies and advanced battery and power management algorithms and software for Apple products. The role involves working with a cross-functional team of algorithm, software, and system engineers to define software architecture and write software modules implementing battery algorithms. The team develops battery systems, algorithms, architectures, and products to improve battery utility, including robust battery management solutions for consumer, industrial, telecom, or automotive products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience coding in C and/or C++.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and/or deep learning applications.
- PhD and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Understanding of battery modeling and control theory.
- Experience debugging software to tackle challenging problems.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with software requirement definition and software development processes.
