About The Position

Develop future battery management system (BMS) technologies and advanced battery and power management algorithms and software for Apple products. The role involves working in a cross-functional team of algorithm, software, and system engineers to define software architecture and build software modules that implement battery algorithms. The team develops battery systems, algorithms, architectures, and products, and creates robust battery management solutions for consumer, industrial, telecom, or automotive products.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ph.D. and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning applications.
• Programming experience in Python and C++.
• Experience defining software requirements and following software development processes.
• Experience designing and architecting machine-learning inference pipelines and their underlying infrastructure.
• Experience using AI coding tools and creating agentic AI applications.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing and commercializing robust battery management solutions for consumer, industrial, telecom, or automotive products.
• Experience developing innovative and creative machine-learning features in the battery or consumer electronics domain.
