About The Position
The Cut Thread Operator is responsible for threading bolts/studs in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining a tidy work area.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- 2 years of experience operating large machinery.
Nice To Haves
- Cut Thread Machine Operator Experience preferred
- Manufacturing experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate Landis cut threader.
- Push/pull/turn tables of steel bars as needed to thread and advance through the production process once complete.
- Complete a daily production/quality inspection/downtime report.
- Inspect product before threading to ensure no defects are on product.
- Inspect product after threading to ensure proper functionality.
- May inspect work using tape, gauges and micrometer to verify dimensions.
- Cleans as needed to maintain a tidy workstation.
- Perform other duties as required.
