About The Position

As a Customs Specialist at Flexport, you will join the Customs team and help move goods across international borders. You will work with clients, shippers, logistics partners, and government agencies to clear goods, using Flexport technology to automate and improve customs processes. The role offers exposure to client strategy and operational reviews, along with learning and development opportunities to build a career in customs and global trade.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; the posting is aimed at recent graduates.
Commitment to integrity, regulatory adherence, and a compliance-first approach.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to new technology, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage a large volume of tasks with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and willingness to seek and accept feedback.

Responsibilities

Navigate customs regulations to ensure goods comply with international laws.
Manage the documents and data needed for customs clearance to CBP.
Collaborate with international clients and logistics partners, providing timely information and support.
Use Flexport technology to optimize customs processes and provide data to clients.
Participate in client business reviews and operational calls.
Follow and help improve standard operating procedures.
