About The Position

Riverland Community College welcomes applications for the intermittent, non-credit, part-time position of Customized Training - Welding Instructor from individuals who are passionate about helping students succeed. We are seeking an instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching who desires to make a difference in the lives of our students. The instructor will be assigned to teach in a traditional classroom and lab format.

Requirements

• Diploma in Welding.
• Four (4) full-tie years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in welding.
• One year of work experience in welding shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of the application.
• The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two (2) years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
• A complete online application will include a letter of interest and resume/curriculum vitae.
• This position requires completing employment references and a driver’s license background check.
• All Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US.
