About The Position

The Customer Training Manager delivers customer facing content utilizing a variety of technologies. The Customer Training Manager is responsible for all aspects of creating live and pre-recorded trainings delivered with direct customer interaction. The Customer Training Manager works with cross-functional teams and functions as a subject matter expert creating and updating workshops and trades training sessions. The Customer Training Manager is responsible for the procurement of props and construction of sets as needed for sessions. The Customer Training Manager will interact with multiple levels and functions inside and outside the learning organization. The Customer Training Manager must be detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well with a team, and be a self-starter.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • 1 year experience in training industry or Home Depot equivalent

  • Experience facilitating training both in-person and remotely, with a solid understanding and application of adult learning principles
  • 2 years experience in training industry or Home Depot equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support - Administrative (calendar planning, attendance/roster management, communication with customers)
  • Collaboration/Partnership - Partnering with the cross functional teams to serve as a subject matter expert in the creation of training materials and/or serving as project lead; Partnering with cross functional teams to create and prepare sets for workshop delivery
  • Training and Development - Delivery and recording of training and development programs
