About The Position

This is a temporary project role for a Customer Support Technician located onsite in Jacksonville, FL. The estimated duration is 12 months with possible extensions. The role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the client's site, with no telecommuting or remote work. Candidates must be able to relocate as required.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Jacksonville, FL
  • Experience with Installation, maintenance, and technical support of workstation hardware (1+ year).
  • Experience providing customer service and technical support with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10 or above operating systems.
  • Experience with Configuration and deployment of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Experience with Troubleshooting and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
  • Experience with Audio-visual and video conference equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university with at least 25% of the completed coursework in Information Technology related courses.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Net+

Responsibilities

  • Provide computer and user support including installation and configuration of hardware and software, upgrades, patches, and advanced technical support.
  • Monitor service ticket queue and resolve tickets as assigned.
  • Document work performed and resolutions.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot audio-visual and video conference equipment as assigned.
  • Perform basic network and telephony support.
  • Provide on-site support for remote troubleshooting by other technical staff.
  • Configure and deploy Information Technology resources including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
