To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story. We are now preparing for our upcoming commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients. As a Production Support Technician, you will be reporting to the Operation Services Supervisor. Your responsibility is to maintain Kardium’s cleanroom environment in accordance with all necessary requirements for manufacturing Kardium’s Globe System product. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Burnaby, BC. This position is based on a 3x4 schedule with 10-hour shifts. Candidates must be able to commit to working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) consistently and be available for holiday shifts as operational needs require.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adherence to stringent cleaning standards
  • Physically fit and able to wear a full-face respirator
  • Able to lift 25 lbs., perform repetitive motion tasks and move around for extended periods while performing cleaning tasks
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must be dependable, flexible and committed to quality and compliance
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in performing various cleaning activities in a highly regulated manufacturing environment is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that you adhere to all safety protocols and proper chemical handling
  • Ensure that you adhere to established procedure, protocols and work instructions
  • Ensure that you follow GDP (good documentation practice) and accurately record cleaning tasks on relevant documents
  • Perform Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual cleaning in cleanroom and other controlled environment
  • Use HEPA vacuums and other specialized equipment for cleaning and maintaining cleanroom environment
  • Report any deviation or issues and escalate to your supervisor
  • Monitor and maintain stock of cleaning materials and solutions
  • IPA refill and disposal
  • Cleanroom T-shirt laundry, folding and sorting
  • Material transfer of cleaning supplies and solutions
  • Glassware cleaning
  • Any other tasks assigned
