About The Position

Boeing Distribution, Inc. Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Experienced Customer Support Specialist to join their team in Wichita, KS. This role involves reviewing customer purchase orders, processing them in SAP (ERP) and portal management, and interacting with various internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely order resolution. The specialist will prioritize orders with issues, perform analysis, research solutions in SAP, and monitor/expedite complex and urgent orders. They will also resolve customer claims, manage the RMA process, determine root causes, and maintain pipeline health for part usage and demand. The position requires adherence to export control compliance and may involve other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • 6 or more years of related work experience
  • Experience in Program Management and/or Customer Support
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Experience in all MS office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must be able to analyze and generate reports.
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements.
  • A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Responsibilities

  • Reviews customer purchase orders to assess requirements.
  • Processes and maintains customer purchase orders, including order entry in SAP (ERP) and portal management.
  • Interacts with warehouse positions, Sales, and Quality to ensure timely resolution of orders.
  • Prioritizes orders with issues based on required ship date and analyzes whether orders can proceed.
  • Performs research in SAP (ERP) to resolve order issues.
  • Reviews and actions open orders pending resolution.
  • Ensures timeliness of shipment for critical orders through internal coordination and liaison with stakeholders.
  • Monitors and expedites orders with high complexity and urgency.
  • Resolves customer claims with functional departments, manages Credit & Rebill and RMA processes, determines root cause, and recommends corrective actions.
  • Supports Account Receivables with cash collection.
  • Maintains pipeline health on part usage/demand in collaboration with Customer, Sales, Planner, etc.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
