About the position
As a Customer Support Representative at OpenTable, you will be responsible for providing excellent service and support to our customers. You will be the primary contact for our large customer base in North America and worldwide, answering complex questions and assisting with product usage via telephone, email, and internet. With a focus on the restaurant and hospitality industry, you will use your problem-solving skills and passion for helping people to ensure customer satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity for growth and continuous improvement in a flexible and script-free environment. Fluency in English and either French or German, as well as being based in Canada, are required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to customers via telephone, email, and/or Internet
- Answer complex questions on function and usage of products
- Serve as the primary contact for a large customer base in North America and worldwide
- Ensure excellent service is provided to customers
- Start each day with energy and enthusiasm
- Lobby to ensure both customer and company needs are met
- Tackle problems and provide solutions
- Maintain integrity and respect for customer trust
- Adapt to diverse customer styles
- Continually seek feedback and implement improvements
- Work shifts typically starting at 5:00 am PT and ending at 10:00 pm PT
- Be willing to work overtime during peak times/seasons
Requirements
- Candidate must speak English + French, or English + German
- Candidate must be based in Canada
- Have an interest (or background) in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Appreciate any relevant experience in the industry
