About The Position

This role serves as a critical liaison between Worldwide Sales and the Office of the CEO, requiring the ability to build strong relationships with the CRO, senior sales leadership, and Account Executives. The position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer. Key responsibilities include identifying and monitoring key deals for CEO engagement, providing regular reports on deal activity to the CEO, and gathering/analyzing insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. The role involves partnering with sales teams to develop actionable CEO-engagement plans, and traveling with the CEO to customer engagements as needed. The individual will translate customer interactions and feedback into insights and recommendations to shape sales campaign strategy. Additionally, this role acts as the primary point of contact and advocate for prospects and customers on behalf of the Office of the CEO, partnering with Marketing and Transformation on customer-facing initiatives. Collaboration with Post-Sales, G&A, and Engineering is essential for building plans to address customer business challenges and proactively prevent potential concerns. The role also delivers customer insights on product capability gaps/requirements from CEO engagements to R&D. The position is based at HQ with extensive travel and requires a minimum two-year commitment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience, with time spent in Rubrik sales team
  • Demonstrated track record of professional success
  • Absolute discretion and integrity in handling sensitive information (CEO, company, customer matters).
  • Action-oriented and data-driven, with the foresight to anticipate CEO and customer needs before they create friction.
  • Ability to juggle multiple accounts and shift CEO priorities without dropping threads.
  • Able to influence up, down, and across teams — building trust and value while firmly holding boundaries, deadlines, and preparation standards.
  • Quickly grasps complex enterprise deals, account dynamics, and the political nuances within customer organizations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills; able to distill complex information into succinct, high-impact communications.
  • Tracks complex communication threads across channels to ensure prompt follow-up, clear ownership, and swift action.
  • Connects quantitative metrics with qualitative signals to sharpen decision-making.
  • Ability to stay level-headed, navigate incomplete information, and make decisions without sacrificing quality when a customer or CEO/C-level ask escalates quickly.
  • Fluency with AI tools and generative workflows to amplify work productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to build actionable CEO-engagement plans.
  • Travel with the CEO to customer engagements as needed.
