About The Position

Fastenal is hiring a full-time, entry-level Customer Site Warehouse Support employee to facilitate the movement of product through a customer site. The position is based at 8451 S SR 39, Clayton, Indiana. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. The role involves warehouse tasks in a fast-paced environment and requires following workplace health, safety, and sustainability practices.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age due to the nature of the work.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule and extra time as needed.
• Demonstrate ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 75 pounds.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).

Nice To Haves

• Current, full, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program, and ability to meet company driving-record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
• Prior warehouse experience.
• Prior forklift operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer programs and wireless handheld devices.
• Move and handle products accurately.
• Audit and prepare outgoing shipments to customer facilities.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area.

• Participate in activities and programs that support the company's health, safety, and sustainability objectives.
• Learn, pass, and practice environmental health and safety trainings.
