About The Position

Fastenal is hiring a part-time Customer Site Packaging employee to facilitate product movement at a customer site in Minster, Ohio. This entry-level position involves inspecting and packaging products, using computers and packaging machines, and keeping the work area clean and organized. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for up to 28 hours per week. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. Employees are expected to follow health, safety, and sustainability standards and participate in related training and programs.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the work.
Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks over long periods.
Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and extra time as needed.
Demonstrate the core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 100 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen in the United States, Puerto Rico, or Guam.
