About The Position

Fastenal is hiring an entry-level, part-time Customer Site Packaging employee at its customer site in Napoleon, Ohio. The role facilitates the movement of products through the customer site by inspecting and packaging products, operating packaging machines, and using a computer. The employee will maintain an orderly work area and follow company health, safety, and sustainability expectations. The position may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding and training and after performance goals are met.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age due to the nature of the work.
Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks over long periods.
Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and extra time as needed.
Demonstrate the company’s core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and sometimes up to 100 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).
