About The Position

Supervise production schedulers and customer service staff to ensure accurate planning and scheduling. This role involves interfacing with customers regarding shipment and delivery information, supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in customer service activities, and being responsible for the direct supervision of the customer service team, including the creation of work schedules according to budgets and workloads. The position also requires reporting customer issues affecting delivery metrics to internal management, maintaining SAP data relevant to production scheduling (scheduling agreements, master data, etc.), and interacting with internal and external customers to aid in the resolution of issues. Assistance in the SIOP process is also required, and occasional travel for customers for business conferences may occur.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Customer Service or Material/Production Planning
  • Strong communication skills are required, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in software including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and SAP.
  • Organizational and time management skills.

  • Occasional travel for customers requires business conferences.
