About The Position

A sporting goods pro shop located in the Snoqualmie Ice Rink is seeking a part-time team member for evening and weekend work. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service and working with ownership and the team to create a great customer experience. The position includes helping customers select and fit hockey and figure skating equipment and gear, maintaining shop operations and productivity, and contributing to a positive work environment. The employee must be able to work independently and alone.

Requirements

• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be proactive and initiate tasks or activities without necessary supervision.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Must be disciplined and focused on results and operational excellence.
• Must be able to deliver exceptional customer service.

Nice To Haves

• 0–3 years of retail experience.
• Enthusiasm and passion for sporting goods.
• Hockey and figure skating knowledge or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable service about products and collaborate with coworkers to deliver an excellent sales and service experience.
• Fit customers with hockey and figure skating equipment and gear.
• Follow operational procedures and expectations and take personal accountability for them.
• Maintain personal and shop productivity goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Build professional relationships with customers and potential customers by asking open-ended questions to assess their needs.
• Learn, maintain, and share expertise about products, the industry, and trends.
• Contribute to a positive, productive, and passionate work environment on every shift.
• Work independently and alone when needed.
