Recreation Facilities Manager - Edge Ice Arena

About The Position

Management position responsible for the daily operations of the Edge Ice Center, a year-round recreation facility. The role includes operating the facility and scheduling, planning, coordinating, creating, directing, and implementing programs, events, and lessons. The manager supervises recreation programs, events, and activities for people of all ages; budgets, markets, recruits, and staffs programs, events, and facilities; develops sponsorships and partnerships; and responds to the public and participants to answer questions, resolve problems, and improve services.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or another job-related field and one year of work-related experience in the recreation field; or four years of experience in Recreation, Business, or Facility Management.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience.
Facility management experience.
Knowledge of hockey and/or figure skating.
Experience working in a recreation setting with children, teenagers, and adults.
