Customer Service/Sales
About The Position
Customer Service/Sales associates provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance. They learn about products using company tools and share product information to help customers complete an entire project. Associates learn to greet, qualify, recommend, and close customers in their department, as well as handle basic needs in adjacent departments. They maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure those areas are clean, shop-able, and safe. They work cooperatively with their Department Supervisor and associates in their department and other departments. Positions may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
Requirements
- Follow all safety policies and standards and complete specified safety training.
- Work safely to avoid endangering oneself, co-workers, vendors, or customers.
Responsibilities

- Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, correcting hazards and unsafe conditions immediately or reporting them to the Manager on Duty, and working safely.
- Work cooperatively with the Department Supervisor and associates in the same and other departments.
