Customer Service & Sales Reservation Agent
About The Position
Xanterra Travel Collection is hiring full-time and part-time Customer Service & Sales Reservation Agents for its 100% remote Central Reservations team. Applicants must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wyoming. Agents work from home and connect with guests through inbound calls and chats, helping them plan vacations and adventures near iconic National Parks, including Yellowstone, Death Valley, Glacier, Grand Canyon South Rim, and Custer State Park. The role includes recommending, explaining, and selling travel experiences. Xanterra provides paid three-week new-hire training, computer equipment, and opportunities for growth and advancement. The role is suited to dependable, guest-focused people who are willing to learn and comfortable with customer service and sales in a remote environment.
Requirements
- Dependable, curious, guest-focused, and ready to learn.
- Schedule flexibility, including availability to work until 7:15 p.m. MST and on weekends.
- Friendly, professional, and helpful communication with guests and coworkers.
- Passion for creating unique and memorable customer experiences.
- Comfort with customer service and sales, including identifying opportunities to recommend suitable experiences.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to maintain open and honest communication with the team.
- Ability to stay focused, organized, and productive while working independently in a remote environment.
- A quiet, dedicated work-from-home space free from distractions during scheduled work hours.
- Hardwired high-speed internet with a minimum download speed of 40 Mbps.
- Comfort learning and navigating multiple computer systems and technology in a remote environment.
- Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- Must reside in AZ, CO, FL, ID, MI, MN, MT, NC, NH, NV, OK, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WY.
Responsibilities
- Connect with guests through inbound calls and chats to help plan vacations and travel experiences.
- Recommend, explain, and sell travel experiences that suit guests’ vacations.
- Provide a friendly, professional, helpful, and memorable customer experience in interactions with guests and coworkers.
- Communicate openly and honestly with the team.
