About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring seasonal and regular team members for roles in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment at its Arbor Lakes location. Team members work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with colleagues, and help create a welcoming atmosphere and a quick, easy customer experience. Employees may work in different areas of the store as needed to help customers, maintain clean and organized sales floors and stockrooms, and support store operations. Sales and Customer Service duties include keeping the sales floor ready through straightening and re-merchandising; assisting customers with in-store, online, and mobile transactions; operating point-of-sale systems; supporting fitting rooms; returning clothing to the sales floor; organizing stockrooms; checking in and ticketing merchandise; using store technologies; following operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards; and promoting programs such as Nordstrom Rewards. Stock Support and Fulfillment duties include receiving and unloading freight, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, using inventory systems to scan and research shipments, maintaining clean and organized areas, and providing general store support such as setting up events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating fixtures. The role requires continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, and use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. Employees may handle bulky or awkward items and lift items above their heads. General duties involve regularly lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Stock and Fulfillment roles frequently require lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The stated hourly pay range is $16.85–$17.55. Pay offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Responsibilities

Keep the sales floor ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with in-store, online, and mobile transactions, including operating a point-of-sale system and bagging merchandise.
Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
Maintain a clean, clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Follow operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards.
Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver newly arrived items to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly while following quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments according to inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and a quick, easy customer experience.
Work flexibly in different store areas as needed to assist customers and maintain cleanliness.
