About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring seasonal and regular team members for Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment roles at Brentwood Square Rack. Team members help create a quick, easy, and enjoyable customer experience in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment. Applicants can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. Sales and Cashier team members support fitting room operations, encourage customer participation in programs such as Nordstrom Rewards, maintain organized stockrooms and accurate inventory processes, keep the sales floor ready through re-merchandising and straightening, assist customers with transactions, use store technologies, and resolve customer concerns. Stock Support and Fulfillment team members receive and distribute merchandise, fulfill and ship customer orders to quality standards, use inventory systems to process and research shipments, help maintain clean and organized sales floors and stockrooms, and provide general store support. The role may also include setting up events, organizing the backroom, markdowns, and relocating fixtures. The posted hourly pay range is $16.60–$17.30. Pay offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Responsibilities

Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers, taking them to fitting rooms, and sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is checked in and ticketed accurately.
Keep the sales floor ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver arrivals to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while meeting quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating fixtures.
