About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to provide customer support at a U-Haul center. The role involves helping customers with U-Haul products and services, managing equipment rentals and returns using current technology, and inspecting and maintaining equipment. On-the-job education is provided, including opportunities to earn certifications for propane filling and forklift operation. The position also includes ongoing education through U-Haul University. The role is based at 5250 E Craig Rd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89115. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer customer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rentals.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered by U-Haul after employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered by U-Haul after employment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
