About The Position

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team and deliver top-notch customer service. Coastal Waste & Recycling is a growing privately owned, locally operated solid waste disposal and recycling company headquartered out of Boca Raton, Florida serving communities across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. As a Customer Service Representative, the role involves ensuring a seamless experience for customers by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a customer service representative, preferably in waste management or a related industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in customer service software and other relevant computer applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Additional education in customer service or related fields is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer calls regarding waste collection services, billing, and account management
  • Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently to ensure a positive experience
  • Process service requests, cancellations, and account updates with accuracy
  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
  • Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure timely service delivery
  • Provide clear information about services, policies, and procedures
  • Follow up with customers to confirm issue resolution and satisfaction
  • Assist with reporting and documentation as needed
