About The Position

The Customer Service Representative executes a limited scope of customer service activities for a single-site team. The role provides clerical and administrative support to help process complex customer orders and resolve order or delivery issues. It supports the Ag & Trading enterprise, which connects producers and users of grains and oilseeds through origination, trading, processing, and distribution, and provides farmer services and risk management solutions.

The position is based in Gibson City, Illinois. The usual schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some events requiring work outside normal business hours, including weekends. Relocation assistance and work visa sponsorship are not provided. The expected salary is $41,000–$48,000 per year, and the role is eligible for a discretionary incentive award dependent on company and individual performance. Requirements

• High school diploma, secondary education, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex administrative or clerical tasks in support of improvement projects and commitments, applying a basic understanding of customer service practices and procedures.
• Participate in executing customer service strategies.
• Inform customers about order status, invoices, and other standard information needed to complete a sale.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to maintain and update tools, systems, and relationships that support accurate customer demand forecasting, as well as shipment- and inventory-management databases.
• Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support issues under minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
