About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to provide customer service at a U-Haul center. The role supports customers with U-Haul products and services, uses smartphone-based technology to dispatch and return equipment and manage inventory, and includes inspecting and maintaining equipment. The position provides on-the-job education and ongoing training through U-Haul University. Hands-on working interviews are paid, and the posting offers hiring and certification bonuses.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.
U-Haul will not hire or re-hire nicotine users in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect lot equipment, including checking fluid levels.
Answer customer questions and explain products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned rental equipment.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
