Tim Hortons Customer Service Representative
About The Position
This role is responsible for supporting daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing. As a General Help, you will assist with customer service, food preparation, initial baking and cooking of foods, dishwashing, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen. You will perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately, and follow other reasonable requests from management. You will conduct work in accordance with safety standards, store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures, and perform general cleaning duties, removing trash and garbage to designated areas. You will also distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment, and utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control. You will assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements and have the ability to work in various workstations including the meal distribution area (packaging).
Requirements
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Nice To Haves
- A valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent is an asset
- Previous and food services experience is an asset
- Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
