About The Position

National Fitness Partners is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative at its Pennypack location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role provides customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests to create an exceptional Judgement Free experience. Starting pay is $13 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter, based on the employee’s anniversary date. Shift-differential pay is available for select shifts. The position requires open availability and includes frequent physical activity and exposure to cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Open availability for shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching; and continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shifts.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
