About The Position

Five Star Solutions is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support customers with natural gas utility accounts. The role assists customers with bills, payments, account information, and other account-related concerns while providing a professional, positive customer experience. It is remote for candidates residing in AL, GA, ID, IA, IN, KS, LA, MI, MS, NV, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TX, TN, UT, VA, WV, WI, or WY.

The position is full-time at 40 hours per week. Work hours fall between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, with workdays Monday through Friday and every other weekend. Paid training is typically one week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. MST. Starting pay is $14 per hour, with an additional $1 per hour shift differential for nights and weekends. The role is benefit-eligible on the first of the month after 60 days.

Requirements

• One year of previous customer service, call center, or office experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with billing and account information.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions about natural gas bills and account balances.
• Process and assist with customer payments.
