This position is responsible for customer liaison during system application specification, estimating, quote preparation, order review, and support after the sale. The role requires a high level of quoting experience to provide excellent customer service, strong mechanical aptitude for conceptual solutions, and the ability to select systems for customer-specific applications. The representative will manage customer questions regarding technical applications, pricing, delivery, and capabilities, and will interact with other team members and departments for non-standard applications. They will also estimate margin dollars, handle customer discussions about application and quotation issues, perform equipment troubleshooting and installation oversight, and act as a project manager for their projects through engineering and manufacturing. Involvement with engineering during system testing, maintaining records, handling customer complaints and warranty issues, and functioning as a customer advocate are also key responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.
