About The Position
The Customer Service Representative provides customer service to guests inside the store and at the gas pumps. The role includes cashiering, operating a lottery machine, tracking cigarette and lottery inventories, cleaning and stocking the store and parking lot, putting away vendor deliveries, and completing daily transaction paperwork. The position is part of the Shell team at a people-first, growing company, with opportunities for advancement and professional and personal skills development.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical dexterity, including the ability to move up to 50 lbs. from one area to another.
- Ability to operate a computerized POS system.
- Basic math skills and written and verbal skills.
- Enthusiasm and ability to work as a team player.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide fast, friendly customer service to all guests.
- Operate a cash register and lottery machine as a cashier.
- Track inventory of cigarettes and lottery tickets.
- Clean the store and parking lot as needed.
- Process vendor deliveries and replenish store products.
- Complete daily paperwork accounting for all transactions.
