About The Position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) delivers exceptional service to both internal and external customers. By thoroughly understanding Copart's practices, the CSR provides solutions that enhance the customer experience. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the release of vehicles from locations such as body shops, other facilities, and residences. Additional office support functions may also be required. As the initial point of contact for many customers, the CSR represents the company. The role may expand to include chat and email customer support. Responsibilities include answering and making calls professionally, with performance measured on call quality (knowledge, professionalism, follow-up timeliness). The focus is on call resolution, utilizing company resources to gather information and provide solutions to meet customer needs. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One year of office support experience in a customer service role preferred.
  • High School diploma.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Proficient with office equipment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Computer proficiency - MS Suite.
  • Typing speed 45WPM.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain the release of vehicles from body shops, other locations, and residences.
  • Provide solutions that aid and facilitate a unique customer service experience.
  • Understand client needs and offer solutions and support.
  • Answer and place calls in a professional manner.
  • Focus on call resolution and use company resources to gather information and offer solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Potentially expand to include Chat and Email Customer Support.
