About The Position

Dodson Bros. Exterminating Company, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its team. The company is a family-owned pest control business founded in 1944, with more than 600 employees serving customers in seven states and the District of Columbia. Customer service and accounting experience are preferred; pest control industry experience is helpful but not required. The company provides ongoing, intensive training. A strong work ethic and commitment to customer service are essential. This is an hourly-paid position with the potential to earn a monthly deposit bonus of approximately $250–$300. The schedule may need to be adjusted to meet customer needs, which may occasionally require work outside normal business hours.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Acceptable background check.
Proficiency with Windows-based software.
Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with customers and office personnel.
Answer calls, take precise messages, and route them to the appropriate personnel.
Process sales contracts, calculate production for payroll, and prepare bank deposits.
Accurately record services performed by service personnel.
Adjust the standard work schedule as needed to meet customer needs, including occasional work outside normal business hours.
