About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to provide customer support as part of a team. The representative assists customers with U-Haul products and services, helps manage equipment rentals and returns using current technology, and inspects and maintains equipment. The position offers on-the-job education and ongoing training through U-Haul University. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. A valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record are required, as is a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer customer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned rental equipment.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered by U-Haul after employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered by U-Haul after employment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
