About The Position

Titlemax is hiring a bilingual Customer Service Representative in Odessa, Texas. This entry-level, in-store role helps customers access financial services by building relationships, processing transactions, and providing a positive customer experience. The company offers hands-on training, coaching, and development, with opportunities for advancement across its brands.

The position requires a full-time schedule of at least 40 hours per week, regular in-person attendance, and weekend availability. The role involves customer service and account support, transaction processing, sales and marketing activities, store upkeep, cash and security procedures, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws. The hourly wage is $15.00.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to enter data accurately.
• Proficiency using phones, a Point of Sale system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• At least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a personal vehicle available for workday use; mileage is compensated.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including frequently remaining stationary and standing for up to 90% of the time, moving and transporting up to 25 pounds, moving inside and outside the store, and operating mechanical controls such as a keyboard.
• Ability to pass a background check conducted and considered in accordance with applicable law.
• Bilingual English/Spanish ability is identified as a plus and may be required at certain locations.

• Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing.
• Prior cash handling and cash drawer or vault management experience.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
• Review, validate, and accurately process customer transactions.
• Offer personalized financial services to support customers’ needs.
• Enter and maintain customer information accurately in a Point of Sale system.
• Complete daily call campaigns to build new business.
• Support customer account management and collections by accepting payments and managing appointments.
• Perform applicable duties outside the office, including on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing.
• Participate in in-store and community events.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the store.
• Follow store security protocols and proper opening and closing procedures, including managing the vault and cash drawer as needed.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay current on product and process changes.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet individual and team performance standards.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership.
• Maintain a full-time schedule of at least 40 hours per week, with regular in-person attendance, including weekends.
