About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to provide customer service at its Spokane, Washington location. Working as part of a supportive team, the representative assists customers with U-Haul products and services, dispatches and returns equipment using current technology, and inspects and maintains equipment. The role offers on-the-job education and ongoing training through U-Haul University. Paid hands-on working interviews, a $100 hiring bonus, and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program are also offered. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. The position is not eligible for employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer customer questions and explain products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned rental equipment.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul after employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul after employment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
