The Customer Service Representative obtains client information by answering telephone calls and emails, making OB calls in response to an inquiry for information, and interviewing clients while verifying information. This role determines client eligibility by comparing client information to established guidelines, schedules clients for Employment and Training Program Orientations, and refers clients to third-party workforce services providers. The representative informs clients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing information. They maintain an accurate written record of the transaction, maintain communication equipment by reporting problems, and improve quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines, recommending improved procedures. Updates job knowledge by studying new programs and participating in employment and training discussions. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • HS Graduate or GED required
  • 6 months or more experience in customer service, preferably in a Call Center environment, required

Responsibilities
