About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to work as part of a supportive team and provide service to customers at its Killeen, Texas center. The representative assists customers with U-Haul products and services, uses technology to dispatch and return equipment, and helps inspect and maintain equipment. On-the-job education is offered, including ongoing learning through U-Haul University. The posting also advertises paid working interviews, a hiring bonus, and a cash bonus after completion of the Equipment Inspection and Verification certification program.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
