About The Position
The Customer Service Representative serves customers in person and over the phone, prepares food and pizzas, handles cash, and helps keep the store clean and stocked. Team members receive in-store training and support from a manager or teammate. The role may be part-time or full-time and can offer opportunities to advance into management or franchise ownership.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances for short durations.
- Ability to lift deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and handle other products and supplies as described.
- Ability to push or pull trays on dollies, occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder, and perform bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand tasks.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude and provide great customer service.
- Take and process customer orders over the phone and in person.
- Address customer concerns.
- Handle cash and provide correct change.
- Upsell products.
- Make pizzas and prepare other food products according to quality, portion-control, hygiene, and food-safety standards.
- Operate store equipment and use a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders.
- Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Receive deliveries, prepare products, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility, including general cleaning duties and outdoor tasks such as removing trash.
