About The Position

The Customer Service Representative works in a fast-paced retail store environment, providing friendly service and helping maintain high standards for store appearance. The role involves interacting with customers and working across different areas of the store, inside and outside, as part of an energetic team. The position is part time, with flexible availability across days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Requirements

Ability to sell products to customers and provide excellent customer care.
Good communication skills and ability to engage in friendly conversation.
Ability to work at a quick pace while maintaining a positive attitude.
Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish daily goals.
Ability to think quickly, offer suggestions, and develop ideas to solve problems.
Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift.
Occasional ability to lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
Ability to push or pull with the arms using up to 20 pounds of force.
Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift.
Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, with eye-hand coordination; may need to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials or place or remove signs.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service.
Operate the register and cashier.
Make purchase suggestions and sell products to customers.
Sometimes work with the store’s food program.
Work in different areas of the store, inside and outside, to maintain store appearance standards.
Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance.
Work with the team to accomplish daily store tasks.
