About The Position

Customer Service Representative I (CSR I) will be the face of the Bank at our retail branches. CSR I will maintain long-standing customer relationships and effectively build new relationships within our community markets. CSR I will be primarily responsible for handling day-to-day deposit, withdrawal, and cash transactions for existing customers while also assisting customers with identifying and selecting other products that may meet their needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic clerical skills, including working knowledge and ability to use MS Office Word and Excel
  • Ability to proactively solicit new business
  • May be required to stand for periods of time, and may be required to life bags/boxes of coin, weighing up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Process customer financial transactions
  • Assist with customer inquiries
  • Maintain current knowledge of Teller policies and procedures
  • Maintain and balance cash drawer
  • Promote and cross-sell Bank products and services
  • Build and maintain sales portfolio through Sales Management
  • Consistently achieve 80% of individual sales goal
  • Participate in community involvement initiatives
  • Perform additional responsibilities, as assigned by supervisor
