About The Position

The Customer Service Rep I supports the processing and fulfillment of customer orders while providing timely and professional customer service. In this role, you’ll assist customers with placing and tracking orders, communicate with fulfillment and shipping teams, and help ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. Requirements

  • One (1) to three (3) months of related customer service experience and/or training.
  • At least two (2) years of experience using computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with customers at established accounts.
  • Gather job-specific information to ensure fulfillment order accuracy.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and fulfillment staff.
  • Attend departmental and customer meetings.
  • Enter phone and manual orders into the fulfillment system.
  • Distribute all necessary paperwork and reports to the appropriate departments.
  • Coordinate any mid-stream fulfillment order changes with the fulfillment and shipping teams and update the fulfillment system.
  • Communicate the needs of the fulfillment and shipping staff to effectively ship the orders.
  • Assist fulfillment and other teams with special customer requests and projects as needed.
  • Act as primary front desk Receptionist backup.
