About The Position

MAPEI Corporation is hiring a Customer Service Rep to help keep customer orders moving smoothly. The role involves entering and verifying order details, coordinating with internal teams, and providing timely order confirmations to support a positive customer experience. The position is temporary for 5–6 months and is located in Garland, Texas. MAPEI is a global manufacturer of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two years of experience in data entry and/or customer service.
Proficiency in data entry software, ERP systems such as Microsoft D365, CRM applications, and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to working with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Enter, update, and process customer orders accurately in the company’s ERP system.
Verify order details, pricing, and inventory availability; assign appropriate ship dates and shipping locations.
Monitor and validate Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders, maintain product cross-references, and resolve transaction issues.
Partner with Account Specialists and internal teams to address customer inquiries and support timely order fulfillment.
Provide order confirmations and maintain organized electronic purchase order records.
Process order changes and cancellations, resolving discrepancies in product descriptions, quantities, and pricing.
Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
