About The Position
Operate equipment; stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler; and prepare products. Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete related paperwork. Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role requires accurate and quick arithmetic, handling monetary change, communicating with customers and co-workers in person and by phone, processing orders, following written instructions, and entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Compensation is $15.92 per hour. Information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
